Citrus Fruits and pomegranate salad with Nana/mint and honey

Citrus fruit season has already started in Israel even though it’s November and the weather is still warm and sunny. Pomegranate Season, however, is almost over so I’m making use of the last fruits of the season.

Just like when I squeeze fresh juice out of these fruits, I love combining fresh pomegranate seeds with oranges or blood-grapefruits.

This fresh salad contains only orange and blood-grapefruit fillets and pomegranate seeds but drizzle good quality honey on them and it’ll compliment the acidity of the fruits and add fresh chopped nana/mint leaves and it’ll elevate the fresh taste to another level.

Shalom. My name is Michal and I'm Israeli. I would like to share with you my passion to vegetarian food, cooking and baking from scratch, using local ingredients (whatever I can find in the market, instead of using canned ingredients)
