Flu season is here: Make your homemade Remedy that relieves sore throat and coughing

Mix these in a big jar, keep it in the fridge and take 1 Tbsp as needed. Make sure you use a good quality honey.
It is antiseptic and helps relieve sore throat, cough and sweet tooth ((((-:

Wash 1-2 lemons (preferably with vinegar), slice it thinly and place in an airtight glass jar.
Add lots of fresh grated ginger and pour honey on top leaving some space at the top because the lemons will release their juices.

Store in the refrigerator.

Another natural remedy I use is – instead of lemons, add thinly sliced onions (yes, onions). Let it sit overnight, release its juices and then stir the honey and use as much as you need.

This is really good, I have done it before so thanks for reminding me for this year! It’s nice in some nice hot tea

Indeed. In a cup of tea or just by itself in order not to ruin the honey’s benefits by heating it.
